NatStats is *somewhat* back
After internet taking a back seat to life recently, I've been unable to update NatStats to work with the new XML files. However, after having numerous problems, the first script (the update script for the Players for Sale) is now working. If tests prove to be successful, the next stage of updating the rest of the site will commence. Thanks for your support

We're Back!
Some regular users on NatStats would have realised that it hasn't been updated for a couple of months now at least. This is due to an error on my side, and also due to a lack of time to update the site.
However, I have spent far too long coding NatStats for it to be wasted, and so spent some time today (14th June) fixing it. The Players for Sale section is now back up and regularly updating, and the full site update has been run today. Tests will be run over the coming days to ensure everything works fine.
Thank you for your co-operation, and I hope you continue to enjoy NatStats.

Update Needed
Think it's time that I wrote an update about what's been happening over recent months. Those who regularly visit NatStats will have noticed many small changed. But perhaps the biggest noticeable change has been the addition of the language and translation system. This has only just recently been brought into action, and therefore if a language has empty words/English words it probably means it hasn’t been translated yet.
The FireFox extension proved popular, with thousands of visits over the days the link was on the News Items of Hattrick. Thank you to all those people who are using the extension. Please email me any suggestions you may have.
Behind the scenes there have been a few small changes here and there, especially on site design, to make the site even better.
So what’s to come with NatStats? There are many things:
• Many more languages to be added
• A total recode of the forum system, making it easier to use
• Data collection of NT Matches
• Graphs to visually see player and team performance changes
And maybe best of all…. A massive competition is on the way soon. So watch this space and the News Items section on Hattrick!

Lots of Changes
NatStats is constantly undergoing changes at the moment. If you ever experience any programs with the site, wait a few minutes, then refresh. If the problem persists, please contact doof92.

Problem Transferring Database
Over the weekend, we've had to move the entire database to a new server, as a script needed to run on a newer version of MySql. However, some 'special characters' have now turned into a ?, and therefore won't show up properly. This won't affect the comparison tools at all, and will be fixed with tomorrows update. Sorry about the inconvenience.
